
Brody Renfroe returned from an injury suffered in football to lead Trigg County to an eighth-place finish at the Graves Eagle Classic on Saturday in Mayfield.
Renfroe ran a time of 18:35, good for a 28th-place finish. It was Renfroe’s first meet in a month and his time was a personal-best.
Braxton Hargrove finished in 39th place with a time of 19:12, also a new personal best time, and Dekon Perry was 43rd in 19:18.
Dominic Skinner was 60th in 19:55 followed by Grant Gallogly in 71st place (20:30). For Skinner and Gallogly, their times represented new personal bests.
Wade Wallace finished in 126th place (24:12), and Carter Shepherd was 129th (25:18).
As a team, the Wildcats finished in eighth place with 211 points, 15 behind seventh place Murray.
For the girls, Allayah Hargrove finished in 61st place in a time of 28:51.
Trigg County will compete in the Class 2A Region 1 Meet next Saturday at Marshall County High School.
