
Hopkins County Central brought home a sixth-place finish from the Graves Eagle Classic, held Saturday in Mayfield.
Landon Posey had the best time for the Storm, finishing in tenth place at 17:44.
Sam Martin was the second Storm runner across the finish line, completing the 3.1-mile course in 18:51 to place 33rd.
Kaiden Devargas ran a 19:24 to finish in 48th place followed by Alex Ray in 55th place (19:48), Todd Payne in 63rd place (20:06), and Dominic Vignone in 74th place (20:37).
Jaxon Adcock was 85th in 20:53 and Duncan Spiers was 132rd in 26:13.
As a team, Hopkins County Central finished in sixth place with 186 points, which was 18 behind fifth place Graves County and 41 behind fourth place McCracken County.
The Storm will compete in the Class 2A Region 1 Meet next Saturday at Marshall County High School.
