Cole Glover warmed up for next week’s region cross country meet with a fourth-place finish at Saturday’s Graves Eagle Classic in Mayfield.
The University Heights Academy senior covered the 3.1-mile course in 16:51 to finish in fourth place. However, a pair of runners he will see in next week’s region meet finished just ahead of him. Dawson Springs’ Easton Bourland won the race in 16:35 and Murray’s Guervenson Binfield-Smith was third in 16:43.
Jude Finch placed 29th in a new personal-best time of 18:36 and Zech Davis came in 56th place in 19:50, also a new best.
UHA will compete in the Class 1A Region 1 Meet next Saturday at Marshall County High School.
