Makayla Finn will be making a return trip to the state cross country meet.
The Fort Campbell 8th grader finished in 19th place at Saturday’s Class 1A Region 1 cross country meet at Marshall County High School. Her time was 27:50 over the 3 .1 mile course. It was the sixth top-20 finish for Finn on the cross country course this year.
Last year, she came in 59th place at the state meet, which will again be run on Saturday at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.
