This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of October 21 is Heritage Christian Academy Senior Mya Goodwin. Mya was selected based on her play in the 8th District championship match against the Christian County Lady Colonels.
Mya played a big part in the Lady Warriors winning HCA’s first-ever district volleyball championship and advancing to the school’s first-ever 2nd Region tournament as they defeated the Lady Colonels three sets to one.
Mya Goodwin made her case for being among the best volleyball players in the region. She finished the night with 23 kills, 5 aces, and one assist.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
