Cavinder Runs to 36th Place Finish at State

Tyson Cavinder represented Hopkinsville High School at the Class 2A State Cross Country Meet on Saturday finishing in 36^th place.

The sophomore was running in his second state meet, He finished in 77^th place last year in 18:55.

Cavinder covered the 3.1-mile course at the Kentucky Horse Park over a minute faster than last year in 17:49.

His time was 43 seconds off his personal best run two weeks ago at Graves County.
