Just months after walking off the court at Rupp Arena with a state championship at Lyon County High School, Brady Shoulders officially began his collegiate career Thursday night. Shoulders saw significant time on the court as Mercer University rolled past Virginia-Lynchburg 125-54.
Shoulders played 22 minutes in the big win for the Bears. He was 4 of 6 from the field, including 0 for 1 behind the three-point line, for 8 points. He also pulled down 5 rebounds and had 2 assists.
The 22 minutes played tied for the team-high with starter Ahmad Robinson.
Mercer travels to Chicago Monday to take on DePaul.
