Former Hopkinsville Tiger Antonio Williams has gotten his collegiate basketball career off to a pretty good start. The 6-7 freshman has seen action in every game over the first week of the season as Three Rivers Community College has opened the 2024-2025 campaign with three straight wins.
Williams had his best outing of the young season in Three Rivers’ 58-50 win over Arkansas State-Newport on Tuesday night.
He played 20 minutes and scored 15 points. Williams was 6 of 10 from the field and 2 of 3 from behind the arc. He also pulled down 5 rebounds in the game.
Through the first three games of the season, Williams is averaging 7.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest.
Three Rivers (3-0) is back in action Friday night taking on Highland Community College.
