The search for a new boys’ soccer coach at Hopkinsville High School is getting underway. Hopkinsville High School Principal Cindy Campbell announced Friday morning that Aaron Hutchinson has stepped down from the position.

In three seasons on the job, Hutchinson’s teams were 24-34-1. His best season was in 2022 when the Tigers went 12-10-1 and reached the 2nd Region finals before falling to Madisonville-North Hopkins.

In a statement, Hutchinson noted “While this is a bittersweet moment for me, I believe it is the right time for me to explore new opportunities and challenges, both personally and professionally. Coaching this team has been one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences of my
Life.”

Athletic Director stated “Coach Hutchinson is a very hard worker and will be missed on and off the field. We wish him the very best.”

School officials say the search for a coach will get underway in the next few weeks.
