The high school bowling season got underway over the weekend for the teams from Hopkinsville High School and Christian County High School. The two programs traveled to Mayfield Saturday for the Graves County Early Region 1 Bowling Tournament.
The Christian County Colonels finished the day in 8th place, while the Hopkinsville Tigers ended up in 13th place.
The top bowler for Christian County was Christian Lane. Lane finished with a score of 551 total pins for 3 games and an average of just over 183.
Hopkinsville’s top bowler for the day was Ethan Brake. Brake rolled a 524 series, for an average of just over 174.
The two programs will take to the lanes on November 20th against Bowling Green High School on their home lanes at Southern Lanes at 5:30pm.
The next tournament for the bowlers will be December 14th in Bowling Green.
