Just days after being named to the All-State soccer teams,  soccer players from across the state were in Louisville Sunday to take part in the Kentucky High School Soccer Coaches Association All-State Games. The games were played at the home of Louisville City FC & Racing Louisville FC.

From Madisonville-North Hopkins, Eli Redpath was named Boys All-State West 1st Team while Logan Terry was named Boys All-State West 2nd Team. Sunday’s all-star matchups featured contests between the East and West 1st teams and the East and West 2nd teams.

It was a good day for the Western All-State teams. The 1st team and 2nd team All-State members from the western part of the state won both matches in rainy conditions.

Madisonville’s Eli Redpath scored a goal in the 1st team match.

More than 80 All-State players took part in the boys’ and girls’ matches that were played in Louisville over the weekend.
