Two members of Dawson Springs’ state 3rd place cross-country team have been recognized for their efforts this season. Easton Bourland and Deacon Dever were named Class 1A All-State by the Kentucky Track Cross Country Coaches Association.
Bourland, who won the regional championship, finished in 9th place at the state meet at the Kentucky Horse Park. He ran a time of 16:50 over the 3.1 mile course, just missing a new personal best time by 15 seconds.
Deacon Dever knocked over a minute off of last year’s state meet time and finished in 19th place in a time of 17:37.
