Competing for just the second time since the KHSAA sanctioned cheerleading in 2011, the Christian County cheer squad finished in seventh place at Saturday’s Regions 1/2 competition at Barren County High School.
CCHS scored 76.40 points to finish .60 points behind sixth-place Caldwell County in the Game Day Small Division. Henderson County took first place with 91.50 points.
Christian County competed at region for the first time last year and placed eighth. Saturday’s score was an improvement of 7.20 points from last year.
