
The Henderson County cheerleading team won a second consecutive region cheer title and fourth in the past six years on Saturday at Barren County High School.
Henderson took first place in the Game Day Small Division, scoring 91.50 points. The KHSAA combines Regions 1 and 2 into a single region. Their score was 1.9 points better than second place Calloway County.
The Game Day Small Division requires teams to have between five and 19 members.
Henderson County won the Game Day Large Division at region last year. They will compete at the KHSAA State Cheer Championships on Dec. 13-14 at George Rogers Clark High School.
