The Union County cheerleading squad came in eighth place at Saturday’s Regions 1/2 competition at Barren County High School.
Union’s score of 73.40 in the Game Day Small Division was three points behind seventh-place Christian County. The division requires between five and 19 team members.
It was Union County’s second straight year of competing in the small division after a decade of competing in the larger divisions.
