McCracken County golfer Landon Hunt was named First Region Player of the Year by the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association.
The junior won a region championship and finished tied for fourth place at the KHSAA State Golf Tournament in Bowling Green.
In addition to several invitational wins during the season, Hunt earned First-Team All-State honors by the state’s coaches.
