Lyon County’s John Bingham shook off a sign from the University of Memphis to instead throw his pitches at Mississippi State.
Bingham reopened his recruitment late in the game, and drew lots of interest before deciding on MSU.
Bingham, who will be a pitcher-only in college, had an official signing ceremony on Wednesday in Eddyville along with four of his Lyon teammates.
Afterward, he spoke about the path that ended up at Mississippi State.
