The young Christian County boys’ swim team opened the 2024 season on Saturday at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center at Hopkinsville High.
Shemar Barker had the top finish for the Colonels in the water, finishing in 12th place in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:35.44. He was also 21st in the 50-yard free (31.08)
Kolton Parker was 15th in the backstroke (1:36.15) and 26th in the 50-yard free (34.60)
Sam Peck was 25th in the 100-yard free (1:31.72) and 29th in the 50-yard free (36.86)
Jackson Downey was 26th in the 100-yard free (1:38.18) and 35th in the 50-yard free (43.32)
The 200-yard free relay team finished 11th in 2:29.96, while the 400-yard free relay team was eighth in 5:10.35.
