After seven seasons, the search for a new boys’ soccer coach is underway at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School. In what was an expected announcement, Christakis Agisilaou has stated that he is leaving the Maroon program to take over the boys’ soccer program at Father Ryan High School in Nashville.
During his time as coach, the Maroons won 117 matches, 7 district championships, 3 regional championships, an made an appearance in the Elite 8. This year’s team finished 16-7-1, falling 1-0 in the regional semifinals to Henderson County.
His best overall season came in 2022 when the Maroons ended up 21-6-0 and dropped a tough 1-0 decision to St. Xavier in the state quarterfinals.
