The Hopkins County Central Storm won 2 of 4 quarters as they traveled to Apollo Thursday night for a preseason scrimmage. The Eagles also won two quarters, but it was the Storm who would take the total for the night 62-57.
Apollo won the first and second quarters, while the Storm won the third and 4th quarters.
Hopkins County Central got a big night from Davonyae Butcher, who ended up with 24 points. Davante Jagoe and Cohl Hoard added 8 points each.
The Storm officially open the season December 3 on the road at Muhlenberg County.
