Caldwell County’s Harper Holeman was a second-team all-state selection last season after batting .426 with nine home runs and 35 RBIs.
That helped her earn an offer to play college softball at Frontier Community College in Fairfield, Illinois.
Whether it was two Lady Tigers currenty on the Bobcats’ roster – A.J. Hollowell and Alicia Stanley – or her relationship with Frontier’s coaches, Holeman said the college just felt like family.
Your Sports Edge spoke with Holeman following her official signing ceremony with Frontier on Friday in the CCHS cafeteria.
