East Saint Louis (Ill.) receiver Dejerrian Miller had over 20 scholarship offers and basically came down to either Kentucky or Mississippi.

On Tuesday the 6-3, 190-pound receiver  announced he was going to Kentucky and he has big expectations based on what he told Chad Simmons of On3.

“I like how I will fit into the offense. They get the ball to their playmakers and I can be a good X receiver in their scheme that they can move around. I see a chance to make an early impact at Kentucky too,” Miller told Simmons.

“The way they get the ball to their players and the opportunity I have there, I could be SEC Freshman of the Year. I just trust the coaches will put me in a position to make plays right away.”

Kentucky offered Miller, who also took an official visit to Tennessee,  his junior season and never backed off his recruitment to make him feel not only welcomed but needed — and there certainly will be a huge need if junior receivers Dane Key and Barion Brown do not return for the 2025 season as some are speculating.

Miller is a top 500 prospect nationally and is the 21st member of UK’s 2025 recruiting class.
