
The Caldwell County wrestling team went 3-1-1 on Saturday while finishing third in the eight-team Fighting Colonel Classic Dual Tournament at Henderson County.
Logan Brown was named Most Outstanding Wrestler after going 5-0 at 138 pounds with five pins.
The Tigers wrestled Henderson to a 42-42 draw.
Ethan Klidzejs at 106 pounds, Justin Klidzejs at 132, Brown at 138, Donovan Rogers at 144, Jonathan Cocchi at 150, Bradley Asher at 157 and Cale Goodwin at 190 all won by pin in that match.
Caldwell’s only loss was a 56-24 decision to Evansville Reitz.
Ethan Klidzejs (106), Brown (138), Rogers (144) and Goodwin (190) picked up pins against Reitz.
The Tigers edged North Hardin 40-31.
Winning by pin in that match were Ethan Klidzejs (106), Elijah Kirby (126), Justin Klidzejs (132), Brown (138) and Asher (157).
Cocchi (150) and Goodwin (190) each won by technical fall.
Caldwell rolled past Southridge (Indiana) 66-12.

The Tigers picked up a 62-12 victory over Trigg County.

Kirby (126) won by decision 18-15 and Rogers (144) won by technical fall, 16-0.
Reitz won the team title while Henderson was second. North Hardin took fourth.
Caldwell’s wrestlers will compete in the fourth annual Ohio County Duals this Saturday.
