The Caldwell County Tigers brought home a road victory from the 1st Region in their first outing of the season on Monday.
Jaydarius Wilson scored 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Tigers held on for a 66-57 victory at Murray High School.
Caldwell led 30-23 at halftime and took a 43-38 advantage to the final frame.
Murray battled back to lead briefly at 46-45 midway through the fourth quarter. But a 5-0 run put Caldwell back in front for good.

Collin Whittington added 11 points for the Tigers while Pax Aikins had nine.
The game was the first on the hardwood between the two schools since December of 2017. Caldwell has now won the last two matchups but Murray leads 6-4 all-time.
There’s another battle of Tigers coming up on Friday when Caldwell plays at home for the first time against Hopkinsville.
