HCA Falls in Season Opener at South Haven

A tough start to the season Monday night for the Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors. The Lady Warriors struggled with South Haven’s defensive pressure all through the night en route to dropping a 71-3 decision on the road.

The Lady Warriors were charged with 37 turnovers in the game.

South Haven took a 27-2 lead after the opening quarter. Their defensive pressure then shutout the Lady Warriors in the second and third quarters on their way to the big win.

Lexi Lyon had two points for Heritage Christian while Lauren Loftus finished with one point.

Heritage Christian (0-1) is slated to get back to action Saturday in the KCAC state tournament at North Hardin Christian.
