Lady Colonels Continue to Take Times Lower in the Pool

The Christian County girls’ swim team finished in third place at a three-team meet with Hopkinsville and Bowling Green on Thursday at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center.

Addison Peck was third in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:33.26 and fifth in the 100-yard free in 1:14.80, dropping 1.78 seconds off her season-best

Macy McGinnis was fifth in the 200-yard free in 3:06.57, dropping nearly four seconds off her previous best. She was also fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:46.39.

Seda Pampell was fifth in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:52.10 and was 13th in the 100-yard free in 1:45.01

Sarah Kate Gilliam was fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 2:01.58 and was sixth in the 50-yard free in 33.97, knocking 1.5 seconds off her previous best.

Gracelyn Clark knocked 11.9 seconds off her previous best time in the 100-yard free, finishing in seventh place in 1:23.42. She was also fourth in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:43.97.

Kaydence Harrison was sixth in the 200-yard free in 3:10.08 and 10th in the 100-yard free in 1:27.23

Alyssa Mase was 14th in the 50-yard free in 52.19 and 14th in the 100-yard free in 1:52.99.

The 200-yard free relay team of Kaydence Harrison, Sarah Kate Gilliam, Addison Peck, and Macy McGinnis was third in 2:22.46.
