
The Caldwell County Tigers were off to a 3-1 start, but the squad struggled Saturday night against Ohio County in the Beaver Dam Tourism Classic.
The 3rd Region school built an 18-8 lead after one quarter and went on to defeat Caldwell 66-43.
The Tigers were down 29-20 at halftime and 47-37 through three quarters.
The Eagles (3-3) blew open the game in the final frame by outscoring Caldwell 19-6.
Jaydarius Wilson had 12 points for Caldwell while Kam Wilson added 10.
Ohio had four players score in double figures, with Alex Quisenberry and Ryan Durham each getting 18 points. Tate Abney had 11 points and Jaden Bunton 10. Another player, Shawn Cotton, just missed double digits with nine.
Caldwell plays again on Tuesday when it hosts Todd County Central.
