A top 10 finish for the Fort Campbell boys wrestling team Saturday. The Falcons traveled to Marion, Illinois for the annual duals event.
The Falcons began their day by going 2-2 in pool competition. The Falcons lost a close match with West Frankfort 41-39. The Falcons then lost to Carbondale 61-15.
Fort Campbell rebounded to win their final two matches in pool play. They picked up big wins over Goreville (66-18) and Carmi-White County 70-12.
With those results, the Falcons moved into the Bronze division to complete their day. There the Falcons picked up wins over Caldwell County (57-23) and Harrisburg (39-36), giving the Falcons 9th place out of the 22 teams taking part in the event.
