
Braylee Marsh and Tyah White each had 16 points as Hopkins County Central pressed its way past Carlisle County Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Storm never trailed while earning a 65-33 triumph in the 2024 Holiday Hoopla Classic at McCracken County.
Hopkins Central (3-2) opened the game with a 21-4 run that carried into the second quarter.
The Lady Storm had scored the first five points of the day before the Lady Comets got as close as 6-4.
But Hopkins Central countered with 15 straight points and never looked back.

Carlisle (2-3) trailed 28-15 at halftime and could not put together a run after the break.
The Lady Storm pushed its lead to 47-23 through three quarters.
Hopkins Central fell just short of the running-clock mercy rule, but led by as much as 33 points down the stretch.
The Lady Storm also got 14 points from Kenzleigh Harrison and 11 from Calajia Mason.
Carlisle was led by Macee Hogancamp’s 10 points. Gracyn Edging had nine.

Hopkins Central has reeled off three straight wins heading into a 7th District matchup against Dawson Springs Tuesday night in Morton Gap.
