Bowlers from Christian County and Hopkinsville were among those competing over the weekend in the South Warren Invitational in Bowling Green. Both the Colonels/Lady Colonels and the Tigers/Lady Tigers finished in the 5th – 8th position for the overall tournament.

Christian County qualified 8th after 8 Baker games of qualifying for a seeded position. Hopkinsville bowlers qualified 11th after the Baker games.

Both teams would win their first match in the bracket competition and lost their next match which allowed them to finish in the 5th – 8th position.

Christian County beat Warren East before losing to Central Hardin, who finished as the tournament runner-up.

Hopkinsville bowlers beat Warren Central in their opening bracket match before losing to Bowling Green, who won the South Warren tournament.

Coach Mike Goode notes that the South Warren tournament was a different type of tournament with all games being the Baker format so there were no individual games bowled.
