For the third straight season, the Lyon County Lady Lyons will be heading to Paris Kentucky to play in the Kelly Holiday Classic at Bourbon County High School.
Two years ago the Lady Lyons lost two of three in the event. Last year they won two of three with their lone defeat coming at the hands of Christian Academy of Louisville.
Lyon County (7-1) will begin play Friday night at 6:15 against Henry Clay (2-6). The Blue Devils have won two straight after opening the season with six straight losses.
The Lady Lyons are in the upper bracket with Lafayette (7-0) and St. Henry (2-5),
Other teams in the event are Nelson County (3-4), Bourbon County (5-5), Ballard Memorial (3-5), and Harrison County (5-4).
The Lady Lyons will play Saturday and Sunday before returning home on Friday, January 3rd to play Muhlenberg County.
