
Whitley County’s Riley Fuson led the way with 26 points and the hosts Whitley County Colonels held Todd County Central to only 10 first-half points on the way to a 68-45 victory at the BSN Borderline Classic.
Fuson drilled a pair of three-pointers in the first quarter to help the Colonels double up the Rebels, and added 11 in the second to give Whitley County a decisive 30-10 halftime advantage.
John Ross Cardwell and Connor Holder combined for 16 points in the third for the Rebels, and Brett Harris added five.
Fuson scored ten in the second half to finish with a game-high 26, and Bryson Mahan posted 13 of his 17 points after the break to add 17.
Cardwell led the Rebels with 13 points, all in the second half. Todd Central slipped to 1-9 ahead of a matchup with Clay County on Saturday.
Whitley County improved to 9-2 with its fourth straight win ahead of a meeting with Green Valley Christian, NV on Saturday.
