After struggling during the 2024 part of the schedule, the University Heights Academy Blazers got 2025 off to a better start. The Blazers ended a two-game losing skid with a 67-59 win over the Glasgow Scotties in the German American Bank Shootout in Bowling Green.
Tylin George had another big night for the Blazers with a 30 point effort. Elijah Walton added 16 points. Tra Bell scored 8 points and Ryan Luckey added 7.
For Glasgow, Jaylen Bradley led the way with 17 points. Josiah Driver knocked down three shots from behind the arc and ended up with 13 points.
UHA improves to 2-7 with the win. Up next for the Blazers is an opening round game in the 2nd Region All A Classic Tuesday night. The Blazers will travel across town to take on Heritage Christian Academy.
