Colonel Swimmers Compete at Best of the West

Christian County had five swimmers take to the pool at the Best of the West Invitational at Bowling Green on Saturday.

Addison Peck was 23^rd in the 100-yard back in 1:28.56 and was 32^nd in the 100-yard free in 1:16.03.

Sarah Kate Gilliam recorded a pair of season-best times. She was 29^th in the 200-yard free (2:57.89) and 37^th in the 100-yard free (1:18.03).

Kara Johnson also scored a pair of season-best times. She was 44^th in the 50-yard free (36.34) and 48^th in the 100-yard free (1:25).

Shemar Barker was 19^th in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:27.06 and 26^th in the 200-yard free in 2:44.02.

Sam Peck was 29^th in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:27.43 and 45^th in the 50-yard free in 36.08.
