This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of December 30 is Christian County High School’s NeVaeh Day. NeVaeh was selected based on her performance in the Lady Colonels’ tough overtime loss to the Owensboro Lady Red Devils on January 4.

This is the second time in the last four weeks that Day has been named as the ‘Player of the Game.’

NeVaeh had a huge afternoon for the Lady Colonels. She finished the game with a double-double of 23 points and 20 rebounds for Christian County in the contest against the Lady Red Devils. In the first KHSAA stats update of the season, Day is in the Top 25 in the state in rebounding at 11.5 rebounds per game.

The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
