
Lyon County ended a four-game skid in a big way, routing Crittenden County 90-30 Tuesday night in a 2nd Region All A Classic quarterfinal round matchup.
The Lyons scored the first 15 points of the night as part of a 25-2 run to open the game.
Lyon (6-4) led 35-8 after one quarter and 50-19 at halftime.
Crittenden (0-11) just could not mount a challenge as the Lyons continued to pull away after the break.
Nolan Coffman had 21 points and Bray Kirk 18 for Lyon, which substituted liberally throughout the game and had 10 different players score points. Eli Baker had 11 points and Isaac Defew 10.
Andrew Candelario led Crittenden with eight points. Camron Belcher added seven for the Rockets.
Lyon will next face University Heights Academy at Dawson Springs in the semifinals, which have been moved up a day to Thursday with snow expected to arrive on Friday. UHA turned back Heritage Christian 84-63 on Tuesday.
The Lyons and Blazers will meet in the first semifinal game at 6:00.
