Hopkinsville High School seniors Artavius Moses (6), Amoni Johnson (5), and Treston Kay (1) have committed to Lindsey Wilson College to continue their football careers.

Three Hopkinsville High School football players will continue to be teammates in college following their weekend commitments to Lindsey Wilson College.

Treston Kay, Artavius Moses, and Amoni Johnson each made their announcement on social media, joining several other players—including Henderson County quarterback Tradjon Davis—in joining the Blue Raiders program.

Kay led the Tigers in receiving yards (539) and touchdowns (8) and was second with 31 catches. He also ran for 244 yards and three scores and was a versatile weapon for the Tigers the past two seasons.

Defensively, Kay had a scoop and score and a 99-yard pick-six.

Moses led the Tigers with 43 solo tackles, 23 assists, 66 total tackles, and seven tackles for loss as a defensive anchor. The senior linebacker forced four fumbles and recovered two. He was also fourth on the team in tackles as a junior.

Johnson’s senior season was limited due to injury, but in five games, he recorded 19 solo tackles, including six for loss and a quarterback sack. He also recovered a fumble. Based on his per-game average, Johnson would have led the team in tackles over a 10-game schedule.

Lindsey Wilson, located in Columbia, Ky., restarted its program in 2010 after a 75-year hiatus. In 2020, the Blue Raiders won the NAIA National Championship and advanced to the NAIA National Quarterfinals in 2022.
