
Henderson County ran its winning streak to five games and improved to 4-0 against 2nd-Region competition with a 65-49 victory over Christian County on Tuesday in Hopkinsville.
Coming off a comeback win over Hopkinsville last time out, Christian County lost for the first time in the last three games to slip to 3-12.
Henderson has now won three games against 8th-District teams to improve to 10-3. The Colonels will look to add another victory when they travel to face Muhlenberg County on Friday.
Rahsean Stevenson led Christian County with 11 points, including seven in the fourth quarter, and Kam Williams also reached double figures with 10.
The Colonels will try to improve to 2-0 in district play when they make the trip across town to face Heritage Christian Academy on Thursday. Christian County won the only previous meeting between the teams 72-22 last season.
