After winning 11 of its first 12 games this season, including eight straight out of the gate, the Greenwood boys’ basketball team was reeling from a three-game skid ahead of Tuesday’s matchup with hosts Todd County Central.
However, the Gators got well in a big way with a 79-27 victory over the Rebels to improve to 13-4.
Todd Central dropped its tenth in a row to slip to 1-16. The Rebels will look to regroup ahead of a 13th-District matchup with visiting Logan County on Friday. Before a defeat in last season’s district semifinals, Todd Central had won six of seven in the series against the Cougars.
Greenwood will be back on the road on Friday to face South Warren.
