
Lyon County opened the game with a 10-1 run and led wire to wire while defeating Crittenden County in 5th District action Thursday night at Jason White Gymnasium in Eddyville.
Bray Kirk had 22 points and Nolan Coffman added 18 as the Lyons routed the rebuilding Rockets for the second time this season, 77-38.
It was the fourth straight win for Lyon, which is now 9-4 overall and 2-0 in district play.
The Lyons ran out to a 34-10 lead after one period and had a 56-18 advantage at halftime.
The second half was played with a running clock as Lyon continued a busy week that saw it win the 2nd Region All A Classic on Tuesday.
Isaac Defew added 10 points for Lyon.
Camron Belcher had 10 points for Crittenden, which fell to 0-13 and 0-4.
The Lyons have another home district date on Friday when they host Trigg County for Senior Night.
Crittenden also has a district game set for Friday when it visits Livingston Central.
