Caldwell County thought it had gained some quarter-ending momentum when KeDarriah Thompson scored in the closing seconds of the first period against Hopkins County Central Friday night in Princeton.
However, Lady Storm eighth grader BriNiyah Dulin took the inbounds pass, raced to the other end, and put up a runner that beat the buzzer and put momentum back with Hopkins Central.
The Lady Storm went on to win the 7th District matchup 61-49.
