
Three individual champions highlighted Caldwell County’s day at the Dickie Walls Laker Invitational at Calloway County on Saturday.
Logan Brown won the 138-pound division, Donovan Rogers claimed the 144 title and Jonathan Cocchi was first at 150.
That helped the Tigers place third in the team standings with 121 points.
Anna-Jonesboro won the event with 148.5 points while Henderson County was runner-up with 138. Hopkinsville was fourth with 73.5.
The Tigers had four wrestlers turn in runner-up showings in their respective weight classes.
Justin Klidzejs was second at 126, Elijha Kirby took second at 132, Evan Ramage was runner-up at 157 and Dawson Harris took second at 285.
Two Tigers placed third — Trey Herron at 106 and Haoyang Wu at 132.
Earning a fourth-place finish for Caldwell was Jacob Forsythe at 150.
Caldwell is scheduled to wrestle in the Thomas Nelson Duals next Saturday.
