This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of January 13 is Hopkinsville High School’s Jonathan Hart. Jonathan was selected based on his performance in the Tigers’ big 8th District win on the road at University Heights Academy.
Hart led the Tigers in scoring in the big win with 20 points as the Tigers steamrolled their way to a 41-point win. The win was the biggest for Hopkinsville over the Blazers since the 2015 season and moved the Tigers to 2-1 in district play.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
