HCA’s Jason Leek Now State’s Top Scorer

After previously being ranked 2nd in the state in scoring, Heritage Christian Academy’s Jason Leek has now moved up to the top spot in Kentucky boys basketball.

As of Tuesday morning, Leek was averaging 34.5 points per game. That number is one point better than Braxton Keathley, of Breathitt County, who is second at 33.5.

Another 8th District player is in third place on the list. University Heights Academy’s Tylin George is now averaging 32.7 points per game.

The list of 2nd Region players and their rankings is:

1 – Jason Leek – Heritage Christian – 34.5
3 – Tylin George – University Heights – 32.7
30 – Bray Kirk – Lyon County – 22.0 (does not include Monday night)
36 – Tyreek Anthony – Fort Campbell – 21.6
43 – Montgomery Johnston – Dawson Springs – 21.2
49 – Rex Blue – Dawson Springs – 20.8
