
Community Christian knocked down eight three-pointers and put an end to an eight-game skid on Tuesday with a 52-14 victory over hosts Heritage Christian Academy.
Cecily Ford went for 22 and Emma Wring added 21 to help Community Christian improve to 2-13. Wring connected on a pair of three-pointers in the opening quarter and Ford had 17 in the first half to build a 40-11 advantage at the break.
Ava DeJager just missed double digits with nine points to lead Heritage Christian. The Lady Warriors slipped to 0-10 ahead of a trip to Christian Fellowship on Saturday. HCA has lost all four previous meetings between the programs.
