Visiting Edmonson County continued its strong play of late with its fifth win in six outings after topping Todd County Central 59-42 on Tuesday.
The Wildcats won their second straight to improve to 11-6 before they welcome Grayson County on Friday.
The Rebels’ struggles continued with their 12th loss in a row to slip to 1-18.
Todd Central will hit the road on Friday for a 13th-District matchup with Russellville. The Rebels had won seven straight in the series before the Panthers prevailed 63-45 last season. Both teams will be looking for their first district win, with Todd Central at 0-1 and Russellville at 0-2.
