
The Dawson Springs Lady Panthers used a strong defensive effort to end their two-game skid Friday night. The Lady Panthers limited Community Christian to just three field goals over the first three quarters on their way to a 50-25 homecourt win.
The Lady Panther defense held Community Christian to one field goal in the first quarter, two in the second, and none in the third on their way to building a 43-12 lead.
Briley Sawyer led the Lady Panthers with 14 points. Baylee Swatzell was also in double figures with 12. Alieah Cook just missed with 9 points.
Cecily Ford was the only Community Christian player to reach double figures with 13.
Dawson Springs (5-9) is set to be back in action at home Tuesday night when they host the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons.
