The Hopkins County Central Lady Storm saw their three-game winning streak come to an end Saturday. Allen County-Scottsville used a quick start to get control of the game and then go on to take a 67-55 win over the Lady Storm.
Avery Morris scored 9 points in the opening quarter for ACS as the Lady Patrios took a quick 19-10 lead.
Tyah White put up a big effort in the 2nd quarter for Hopkins County Central trying to keep the Lady Storm in the game. The quarter ended with ACS leading 36-24.
With Tyah White leading the way as the second half got started, the Lady Storm battled back to within 50-43.
But there would be no big comeback as Allen County-Scottsville held on over the fourth quarter to take the 12-point win.
Hopkins County Central got 17 points from Addie Menser. Tyah White added 14 points and Calajia Mason ended up with 13 points.
The Lady Storm (11-8) will be back on the road Monday to take on Marshall County.
