
Offensive struggles were a big factor Saturday as the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons dropped their third straight game. Fort Campbell was limited to single-digit points in each quarter as the St. Mary Lady Vikings rolled to a 61-20 homecourt win.
St. Mary jumped out to a 16-8 lead after the opening quarter and kept the pedal down the rest of the way. The lead grew to 37-13 at the half as the Lady Falcons were held to just two field goals in the second half.
Rosella Rajj was the only Fort Campbell player to score in the third quarter as the lead for St. Mary moved out to 50-19. Rajj was also the only player to score for Fort Campbell in the final quarter as the Lady Vikings pulled away to the 41-point win.
Rajj finished the day with 15 points to lead the Lady Falcons. A’mari Grimsley added four for Fort Campbell.
St. Mary was led by Olivia Lorch with 19 points. Audrey Sims hit double figures with 10. Olivia O’Neill just missed double figures with 9.
Fort Campbell drops to 3-9 with the loss. The Lady Falcons will get back to work Monday when they host Christian County.
