After four seasons on the job at Todd County Central, head volleyball coach Steve Lyne is headed back to his old stomping grounds. School officials at Logan County High School announced Saturday that Lyne would be returning to the school for another tenure as the head volleyball coach.

Lyne left Logan County following the 2018 season after 8 seasons on the job.

After a couple of seasons out of the head coach’s chair, he then took over the Todd County Central volleyball program in fall of 2021.

His first team at Todd Central went 22-14, losing to Bowling Green in the 4th Region tournament.

In 2022, the Lady Rebels finished 24-12, again losing to Bowling Green in the 4th Region tournament. That team won that 4th Region All A Classic and earned a trip to the All A state tournament.

The 2023 Lady Rebels finished 15-18 and then in 2024, Todd County Central finished 18-17 and for the third time in four years lost to Bowling Green in the opening round of the 4th Region tournament.
